Prospective Tips - Your Entry Point

Before the age of social mediums the power to connect was limited.  To me, the old way of networking was what defines network marketing.

In today’s day and age people trust you more based on word of mouth referrals because of how socially connected we are.

The internet is an extremely powerful tool and with social networks it is the most powerful means of connecting of all time.  I call this Social Marketing.

On social networks you are doing one of two things either attracting or repelling the people you are engaging your content with.

How do you attract people?  How do you avoid repelling people?

Most network marketers don't even realize the damage their content is doing.  It is pushing away their audience and following.

First identify your method of branding.  As a network marketer you can attract two types of people.  Either distributors or customers.

If you want to attract distributors your branding should be very centered towards your value, leadership, influence, and authority in the network marketing industry.

If you want to attract customers your message should be specifically designed to success stories about the products you are promoting.

Is it a bad idea to do both on your page?  Absolutely.

Doing both confuses your audience.  You would not post on your smoothie blog the many different types of smoothies you can make daily and then throw in a blog post on making money with car parts.

These are two different themes with two different target markets.

The same goes into a customer base compared to a distributorship base.

Once you’ve identified what you are going to brand know the medium.

If you are on snapchat your marketing plan and what content you post is going to be different than Facebook.  Each environment has different tactics that work for the medium.

Finally know if you are a person worthy of being follower.  That is the number one way to build followers and an audience.

Are you producing content of information that gives value to the target market.  If you produce enough value your following will increase.  This type of marketing attracts people to you and will build your influence on every medium.
