Prospecting Tips - Your Entry Point

In a world full of people it is also a world full of people to connect, network, and collaborate.   Prospecting in network marketing is the same as collaborating.

You are finding people that want to build with you.  Once you have a lead to talk to the biggest question is when do you bring up your network marketing business?

Lets explain the science of recruiting a prospect or bringing them in as a customer.

When you start communicating with another individual you have the opportunity to bring up your network marketing opportunity but when is the right time?  The right time to prospect i call the point of entry.  People are either looking for a network marketing opportunity or they are not.  Prospecting is 90% timing.  They are hungry or they are not.

The science behind finding if a prospect is hungry or not is based on solving a problem in their life. The first tip is to identify the problem you are solving.

Ask questions.

What is your prospects wants, needs, desires, and goals?  If they want to earn more income leading with the business and a success story on income is your entry point.  If their desire is time freedom or an incredible lifestyle your point of entry is the lifestyle that comes with network marketing.  If their goal is to lose weight or any benefit from your product than you lead with the product.

What a real entry point is; is when you pique interest.  It is identifying the prospects problem.  Then offering your solution.

The second tip is not to become a desperate networker.  Just as most people don't like desperate people when connecting or networking.

Being recruited prospects do not like desperate recruiters.  Instead of focusing on that one recruit focus on solving their problem and adding as much value as you can.
